The Asset Originator is an entity specialised in the curation of real estate investment opportunities. With a proven track record, Asset Originators have the legitimacy to screen and select prospective "Borrowers" looking for financing for their specific projects.
Konkrete Investors are participants who provide USDC to the protocol to be utilized by Borrowers. The liquidity provided is then used by Borrowers to finance their assets. In return for this liquidity, Borrowers distribute yields back to Investors.
Borrowers are real estate operators who seek financing from Konkrete, and they propose Borrowers Pools to be assessed by the network. Borrowers Pools are smart contracts that contain the terms a Borrower seeks for their loan, such as the interest rate and repayment schedule.
Strategists are participants who set up the pool and conduct the audit of the Asset Originator's deal and the Borrower. Strategist's role is atributed to Konkrete, based on the experience and tracj record of the team. What's worth noting is that, both co-founders have worked in the real estate industry the past several years for sovereign institutions (Temasek) as well as private funds (Tikehau capital, Rothchild, Aew Europe).
